Ludwig Mies van der Rohe
1928-29; demolished 1930; rebuilt 1986 I've always wanted to recreate something similar to this house in terms of styling and after seeing this house on a tv advert, I found some info out about it and decided to make it. I've always loved it's minimal styling, design and simplicity about it considering it was made in the 1920's by , just shows how far ahead of its time it was in terms of design. Everything is made including the outdoor 'garden' part, then also the city skyline and sky itself added . I found the website for it and started making it all from ref pictures, about 40 hours modelling, 11 texturing (3 hours making textures look right and also making the marble textures from scratch in photoshop), then about 2 rendering all the pics and post production and poster completion.
